Puerto Chiapas was created in order to provide the State with a deepwater port that allows the output of agricultural products to other markets of the state, trigger the fishing industry, promote the establishment of companies, and allow the arrival of goods and products not generated into the state.

The cargo sector was completed on 23 December this year a challenge in receiving discharge of 48 blades, for wind energy towers from Spain and final destination on the municipality of Arriaga. The vessel named M / V Valdivia arrived at 9:30 am, this boat is 188,640 meters length, 27,730 meters of magna and 24,918 gross register tons. These materials are to produce kinetic energy generated by the effect of air currents, and is transformed into other useful forms of human activities.

Puerto Chiapas is further proof that we are in the world and we know where we are headed. Puerto Chiapas means advancement, certainly in the destiny of our land, opening markets for our products, and also to our cultural offer.
