As part of the Federal Government's commitment to the development of Puerto Chiapas, 50 million pesos will be invested in infrastructure maintenance and construction works, which will maintain port in optimal operating conditions and attention to craft.

The main works to be taken: first stage perimeter roads, defense and second stages of maritime signaling, among others; also will be carried out maintenance work on the fishing docks in response to a priority need and Puerto Chiapas requirement.

The mentioned works complement and enhance the facilities that Puerto Chiapas offers to the shipping industry, in order to continue to consolidate a multipurpose port in operation, to cover all sectors and industries.
